First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether two simple calculations using heart rate and blood pressure, taken before surgery, can predict which women will have a dangerous drop in blood pressure after receiving spinal anesthesia for a planned C-section. About 300 women having elective C-sections will be observed. The goal is to help doctors identify at-risk patients early and manage their care better.
