Can a simple score predict which moms face danger after birth?
NCT ID NCT06431204
Summary
This study tested a scoring tool, called the Obstetric Comorbidity Index, to see how well it could predict which mothers would have serious health problems after a cesarean delivery with heavy bleeding. Researchers looked at the medical records of 583 mothers in Thailand who had this experience. The goal was to see if this tool could help doctors better prepare for and manage potential complications.
