First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study explores whether artificial intelligence can predict when someone with bipolar disorder might have a relapse. Researchers will collect data from 200 people with stable bipolar disorder and 200 healthy volunteers, analyzing their speech, facial expressions, text, eye movements, and brain activity. The goal is to build a model that spots early warning signs of recurrence, which could one day help doctors intervene sooner.
