First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether measuring belly fat with CT scans can help predict how well biologic therapy works for people with ulcerative colitis. Researchers will follow 200 adults for 6 months to see if changes in fat around the belly are linked to treatment success. The goal is to find a simple way to know early if a treatment is working.
