New model aims to predict IBD drug success, saving time and money

Summary
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a lifelong condition with no cure. Biologic drugs are a common treatment, but they don't work for 30-50% of patients and are very expensive. This study will collect data from 200 IBD patients to build a model that predicts who will benefit from which biologic, helping doctors choose the right treatment from the start.
