Can your first hour of pain relief predict six months of comfort?

NCT ID NCT07367191

Summary

This study aims to see if the pattern of pain relief in the first few weeks after a common steroid injection for sciatica can predict how well the treatment will work in the long run. Researchers will follow 120 adults with sciatica from a herniated disc, tracking their pain levels closely for 6 months after they receive the injection. The goal is to help doctors better understand which patients are likely to get lasting relief from this procedure.
