First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a new app that predicts when preterm infants will have pauses in breathing (apnea) and slow heart rate (bradycardia). The app will then trigger gentle stimulation to prevent these episodes. The study will enroll 25 preterm infants born before 32 weeks who have already had these episodes. The goal is to reduce the number of times these events happen.
