First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study is for 500 adults having elective heart surgery with a heart-lung machine. Researchers will monitor each patient's personal blood pressure limits using special brain sensors. The goal is to see if keeping blood pressure within those limits reduces the risk of brain problems like confusion, stroke, or memory issues after surgery.
