Breakthrough trial tests precision medicine for kids with lupus kidney damage

Summary
This study compares two ways of giving a medication called mycophenolate mofetil to children and young adults with lupus nephritis, a serious kidney complication of lupus. One group gets the standard dose based on body size, while the other gets a personalized dose adjusted based on blood tests. The goal is to see if personalized dosing is safer and more effective at controlling the kidney disease over one year of treatment.
