Summary
This study aims to improve diagnosis of severe lung infections in children in intensive care. It will test whether measuring the body's immune response, along with advanced bug detection, can identify which germ is actually causing the illness. The goal is to give the right antibiotics only to those who need them, reducing side effects and antibiotic resistance.
