First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study aims to find proteins in the blood that may show early heart changes in pregnant women with preeclampsia, a condition involving high blood pressure. Researchers will use heart ultrasounds and blood tests at two points during pregnancy to see how these markers relate to heart function. The goal is to better predict future heart problems for mothers. About 172 women up to 20 weeks pregnant will participate.
