NCT ID NCT07317453
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new image reconstruction software called Precise Image for CT scans of the shoulder, hip, and knee in adults. Researchers want to see if it produces images as good as or better than the current standard software. About 84 adults will have their existing CT scans analyzed. The goal is to improve image quality and doctor confidence when diagnosing joint problems.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Precise Image reconstruction algorithm (software)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could improve CT image quality for joint scans, potentially leading to clearer images and better diagnostic confidence for doctors.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage, non-randomized study with only 84 participants. The new algorithm may not prove superior or could have unexpected limitations in real-world use.
