First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This 12-week pilot study tested a new AI-based system called DigiPrehab in 43 older adults living at home. The system analyzes fall risk and creates a personalized exercise plan for each person to do at home. The main goal was to see if the technology is easy to use, with the hope of helping seniors prevent falls.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to a practical, AI-based tool that helps older adults reduce their risk of falling at home.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study with only 43 participants and no control group, so results may not apply widely. The system's usability and effectiveness are still being tested.
