Summary
This study tests whether sending a brief informational prompt to patients before their primary care visit helps them and their doctor discuss stopping or starting statin medications. Researchers will enroll 1,700 adults aged 65 and older at Brigham and Women's Hospital clinics. The goal is to see if this simple reminder leads to more medication changes on the day of the visit or within 60 days.
