Coaching before transplant boosts patient confidence

Summary
This study looks at whether one-on-one health coaching over the phone can help people waiting for a lung transplant feel more in control and emotionally stronger. About 230 adults on the transplant list will either get up to 12 coaching sessions or standard care. Researchers will measure changes in self-management and emotional health using a standard questionnaire.
