Summary
This study is testing whether a special education program before gallbladder removal surgery helps patients recover better and feel better after the operation. Researchers are comparing 200 patients who get this extra teaching to those who receive the hospital's usual pre-surgery instructions. The goal is to see if better-informed patients have an easier recovery and a higher quality of life one month after surgery.
