First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a standard amount of IV fluids before anesthesia can prevent a sudden drop in blood pressure after patients are put to sleep for a routine bladder scope procedure. About 100 adults having elective cystoscopy will receive either the fluid bolus or standard care. The goal is to see if this simple step reduces the risk of low blood pressure during surgery.
