First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests if drinking a carbohydrate drink (apple juice) before jaw surgery can lessen nausea and vomiting after the operation. Researchers will compare 32 healthy adults who get the drink to those who don't, using standard care for all. The goal is to see if this simple step improves recovery and reduces the need for anti-nausea drugs.
