Summary

This study tested whether adding a pre-surgery health program (pre-habilitation) to standard enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) reduces complications in people with gastric cancer. 136 adults aged 18-75 who had chemotherapy before surgery took part. The program included exercise and nutrition before their operation. The main goal was to see if it lowered the number of serious problems within 30 days after surgery.
