First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a 12-week program combining a special nutritional supplement (with synbiotics) and supervised exercise can improve muscle strength, gut health, immune function, and thinking skills in 40 adults aged 50-80 who are showing early signs of frailty. The goal is to see if this approach can prevent or reverse the declines that come with aging. Participants will take the supplement and attend exercise sessions, with regular check-ups to measure changes.
