NCT ID NCT07232069
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether screening people with heart disease risk factors for early plaque buildup, then treating them with cholesterol-lowering and anti-inflammatory medications, can prevent heart disease from getting worse. About 1,500 adults aged 30-60 will be randomly assigned to receive active drugs, a placebo, or a combination for two years. The goal is to see if early action can reduce plaque and improve heart health.
