First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a protein called PRDX1, found in blood collected from the surgical site during colon cancer removal, can help predict if the cancer will spread to the liver. Researchers will follow about 260 patients who had curative surgery to see who develops liver metastases. The goal is to identify high-risk patients earlier so they can receive timely treatment.
