NCT ID NCT07214051

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested whether providing educational materials and follow-up calls could increase cancer screening rates among women in Puerto Rico who were overdue for breast, cervical, or colorectal cancer screenings. 500 women aged 21-75 took part, with half receiving the intervention. The goal was to see if community-based outreach could overcome barriers like distrust and lack of access.
