Summary
This study tested a new medicine called BI 655130 in 59 adults with palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP), a skin condition causing painful pus-filled blisters on the palms and soles. The goal was to see if the drug safely reduces the severity of the pustules and plaques compared to a placebo. Results suggest the drug may help control the disease, but ongoing treatment is likely needed.
