Scientists track the hidden toll of MS on the mind
NCT ID NCT03455582
Summary
This study aims to understand how and why thinking and memory problems develop in people with primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS). Researchers are following 66 patients for two years, using detailed brain scans and cognitive tests to see how brain changes relate to changes in daily thinking skills. The goal is to gather knowledge to help future treatments, not to test a new therapy.
