First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking proton pump inhibitors (common acid-reducing drugs) after endoscopic drainage for pancreatic walled-off necrosis increases the number of procedures needed. About 120 adults with this condition will be randomly assigned to receive PPIs or not. Researchers will track how many additional treatments are needed, complications, and hospital stay length.
