Summary
This study aims to find the best way to prevent acid reflux after a common throat surgery for achalasia. It will compare taking a daily acid-reducing pill for a full year versus only taking the pill when symptoms appear. Researchers want to see which approach better protects the throat from acid damage and improves patients' quality of life.
