Summary
This study tested a new mental health program designed to prevent postpartum depression in women living in earthquake-affected parts of Türkiye. Researchers first interviewed 24 new mothers to understand their needs, then used those insights to create the program. They then tested it with 106 women, comparing those who received the special program to those who got standard care, to see if it reduced depression symptoms.
