New injection tested for stubborn back pain

NCT ID NCT04238676

Summary

This early-stage study tested an experimental injection called PP353 for people with long-term low back pain linked to specific spinal bone changes. The research involved 43 adults who hadn't gotten enough relief from standard treatments. The main goals were to check if the injection was safe and if it could reduce pain levels and disability compared to a placebo.
