Can a robotic knee make walking easier for amputees?

NCT ID NCT06218238

Summary

This study is testing whether a new motorized prosthetic knee helps people with above-knee limb loss move better than a standard knee. Researchers will compare how 20 participants walk, go up stairs, and stand up while using each type of knee. The goal is to see if the powered knee improves comfort, reduces effort, and makes daily activities easier.
