Power training gives hope to kids with cerebral palsy

Summary
This study tests a new exercise program called functional power training (MegaPower) for children with cerebral palsy who can walk. The goal is to see if it helps them reach their personal activity goals, like keeping up with friends. About 66 children aged 4 to 12 will either do the power training or continue their usual care for 12 weeks, and then be followed for 24 weeks. The training focuses on quick, powerful movements to improve walking and endurance.
