First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether a Community Support Worker who helps low-income families with young children apply for benefits and tax credits can increase family income, reduce parenting stress, and improve child health. About 80 parents of children under 3 who struggle to make ends meet will be randomly assigned to get this help or usual care. The goal is to see if linking health care with social services makes a real difference.
