Summary

This study tested whether a 12-session parenting group therapy program is helpful and practical for new parents experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety. The program, called CARE, focuses on helping parents understand their own and their baby's feelings to improve their relationship and reduce stress. A small group of parents with infants aged 3-12 months participated and filled out surveys to see if the program improved their mental health and bonding.
