Can prenatal vitamins boost nutrition for breastfeeding moms and babies?

NCT ID NCT05736562

Summary

This study is testing whether taking a specific prenatal multivitamin during breastfeeding improves the nutritional health of mothers and their babies. Researchers are comparing the vitamin to a placebo pill in 70 healthy, exclusively breastfeeding women over 10 weeks. They will measure nutrient levels in the mothers' blood and breastmilk to see if the supplement makes a difference.
