Summary

This study looked at 500 women who had gestational diabetes during pregnancy to see how many developed diabetes or pre-diabetes within 4 to 12 weeks after giving birth. Researchers compared women diagnosed with gestational diabetes before 24 weeks of pregnancy to those diagnosed later. The goal was to better understand the risk of ongoing blood sugar problems after delivery.
