Community support aimed at helping young mothers plan their families

NCT ID NCT06261970

Summary

This study tested whether strengthening local health systems could help first-time mothers in Tanzania start using contraception after giving birth. Researchers worked with community support groups and trained health workers to provide information and support. The goal was to see if these 'light-touch' enhancements could help young mothers space their pregnancies and improve health outcomes.
