Community support helps new moms plan their families
NCT ID NCT06261970
Summary
This study tested whether simple community support programs could help first-time mothers in Tanzania start using birth control after having a baby. Researchers worked with over 1,100 young mothers to strengthen local health systems through support groups and better-trained health workers. The goal was to help mothers space their pregnancies to improve their own and their babies' health.
