Could a tiny sensor replace awkward diabetes tests for new moms?

NCT ID NCT06184373

Summary

This study is testing whether a small, wearable glucose monitor is a more convenient and acceptable way to screen for diabetes risk in women who had diabetes during pregnancy. Researchers will ask 20 new mothers to wear the monitor for a period after giving birth and complete surveys about their experience. The goal is to see if this method is easier and more comfortable than the standard, lengthy fasting blood test, potentially improving follow-up care.
