New plan puts birth control on the Baby's doctor visit checklist

NCT ID NCT04092530

Summary

This study tested a new way to help mothers get birth control after having a baby. Researchers tried offering contraception during the baby's first few doctor visits instead of making the mother come back for a separate appointment weeks later. The goal was to make it easier for mothers to prevent another pregnancy too soon, which can be risky for both their health and the baby's.
