New program aims to save High-Risk moms after birth

NCT ID NCT06615076

Summary

This study is testing whether having obstetric care providers continue to see high-risk mothers for a full year after childbirth, instead of just one check-up, improves their health. It focuses on 100 mothers with high blood pressure or diabetes related to pregnancy who have Medicaid insurance. The goal is to see if this ongoing care model leads to better control of blood pressure and blood sugar, and reduces risks of serious complications.
