Summary

This study aimed to find out which of two common blood pressure medications works better for women with high blood pressure after giving birth. Researchers compared a combination pill (hydrochlorothiazide/lisinopril) against another standard medication (nifedipine) in 70 postpartum women. The goal was to see which treatment controlled blood pressure more effectively in the critical days and weeks following delivery.
