First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether doing special mouth and throat exercises after surgery helps people with moderate-to-severe sleep apnea breathe better at night. Fifty-one adults were split into two groups: one did 12 weeks of exercises after surgery, the other had surgery alone. The exercise group showed bigger improvements in breathing pauses and oxygen levels, especially three months after surgery.
