New hope to stop Cancer's return after transplant

NCT ID NCT05796570

Summary

This study is testing whether a two-drug treatment given after a bone marrow transplant can help prevent leukemia and related blood cancers from coming back. It involves children and young adults up to age 39 who have had a transplant for conditions like acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). The main goal is to see if this six-month preventive treatment is practical to give and well-tolerated, while also checking if it helps keep patients cancer-free.
