Recovery room clues could predict Post-Surgery problems

NCT ID NCT06013891

Summary

This study observed 240 high-risk surgery patients to see if problems in the recovery room (PACU) predict complications in the regular hospital ward within the next 72 hours. Researchers tracked vital signs and complications to understand the connection. The goal is to improve patient safety by identifying early warning signs that could lead to better monitoring and care after surgery.
