Researchers track pain to predict recovery after chest surgery
NCT ID NCT05450172
Summary
This study aimed to understand how pain patterns after chest surgery affect a patient's recovery. Researchers observed 204 adults who had chest surgery to see if the type and pattern of pain they experienced could predict how well they recovered. The goal was to identify factors that might lead to a slower or less complete recovery.
