Can simple breathing exercises speed up recovery after lung surgery?
NCT ID NCT07441863
Summary
This study tested whether a structured program of breathing exercises and early movement after lung cancer surgery helps patients recover faster. It involved 60 patients aged 45-90 who received daily physiotherapy during their hospital stay. Researchers compared recovery times and symptoms between middle-aged and older patients to see if age affects how well the therapy works.
