New study tests home recovery program for ICU survivors

Summary
This study tests a program called PIC-TRFS to help people aged 50 and older recover after a stay in the intensive care unit (ICU). The program includes health management, rehab, social support, and care coordination through telehealth. Researchers want to see if it improves quality of life and function compared to usual care. About 320 patients and their caregivers will take part.
