Could a common pill ease the lingering pain of head injuries?
NCT ID NCT04226365
Summary
This study tested whether adding the medication nortriptyline to standard headache care helps reduce persistent headaches after a concussion more quickly. It involved teens and young adults whose headaches lasted over a month after a mild head injury. The trial was small and ended early, so its results are limited.
