Phone app aims to catch dangerous infections after birth surgery
NCT ID NCT07369700
Summary
This study is testing a mobile phone tool to help community health workers provide better home check-ups for women after C-section surgery in rural Rwanda. The goal is to spot dangerous wound infections earlier, get women to care faster, and reduce health problems and financial hardship. About 1,350 women will be randomly assigned to receive either the new home visits using the app or the current standard of care.
