Summary
This pilot study tests whether a single 10-minute writing exercise called 'Best Possible Self-Tech' can improve positive feelings and encourage prosocial technology use in 8th graders. About 80 students will participate during class, imagining how their best future self would use technology. Researchers will measure changes in mood and tech habits, and see if the exercise is practical for classroom use.
